Route planning tool / time budget

The Blood of Dawnwalker 30-day planner

Turn the game's limited schedule into a route plan you can edit from your own save. Log visible costs, protect a baseline save, and keep reported timing models separate from verified game rules.

Short answer

Use the planner below to reserve time for the goals that matter in your run. The 30-day structure is official, but community reports disagree on how every action consumes time, so the segment model and each cost stay editable instead of being presented as universal facts.

Build a route budget from your save.

Competitor guides make the planner useful by connecting the clock to quests, romances, vassals, endings, and exploration. This version keeps the same player workflow while making the evidence boundary explicit: select a goal, enter the cost you can observe, and change the model if your platform, patch, or route behaves differently.

Spend the clock on purpose.

Add the costs you can see in your own save. This planner is a decision aid, not a claim that every activity uses a fixed amount of time.

Planner rules for a reliable guide.

  1. Record the visible cost.Copy the hourglass, day, phase, quest name, and location before you commit.
  2. Spend one block with one purpose.Group nearby objectives, but do not turn a reported travel cost into a rule without a before-and-after save.
  3. Reload and change one variable.Compare action, delay, and inaction so a later world-state change is not misattributed to one dialogue line.
  4. Publish the fallback.Tell players what remains possible if the budget runs short or an NPC route changes.

Use the missable-quest ledger for risk questions, the quest database for named objectives, and the ending save plan before a final route. The planner does not replace a retail-build test.

30-day planner FAQ

Is The Blood of Dawnwalker limited to 30 days?

Official material describes a 30-day narrative clock. This page uses 30 as the default planning value, while the exact cost of individual activities remains a versioned in-game question.

How many time segments does each quest cost?

Do not assume every quest has the same cost. Record the hourglass or other visible indicator from your own build and enter it into the planner.

Can I complete every route in one playthrough?

The game's tradeoff structure means you should plan around a goal rather than assume a complete checklist. Use the budget to identify conflicts, then verify them from a named save.

What is the segments-per-day setting?

It is an editable planning assumption. Community guides use different ways to describe the clock, so the tool does not present one segment count as an official universal rule.
